They embed themselves I find and can be quite insistent. I really like your layout here, it matches the movement within the words, and this can make a huge difference to their power. I saw Leonardo’s Battle of Anghiari as the warhorses moved in their sleep, the men bouncing along later. Lovely piece João-Maria.
I’m sorry to hear that my dear, it’s true that well-placed words make all the difference sometimes, they fuel us when all else fails. I hope you rise again swiftly, sending love across the aether.
Hi Joao, I simply love this poem. I don’t know if your style is evolving or whether I’m learning how to read you. But I got this one! I think it’s the latter. Glad to see you in circulation. It’s been a little while. And thank you for your likes on my recent posts. It means a lot to me when you respond. You are likely on Christmas break from school now?
Hi Joao,
Dave again. Have you altered your web page? I can’t seem to find any comments but I know you get them. Would you send me a message to my email, please, and help me out RE your page? Thanks. (Don’t judge me; I’m from an age and time when there was no internet!) pastorfekete@gmail.com

Jao, It must have been an impressive sight watching dreaming warhorses. Your poem gives a feel for what that was like I often wondered what dogs were dreaming as they vocalized and moved in their sleep, especially my father’s hunting dog.
I hope you are feeling better. Best wishes for a new year filled with health and happiness!
I had a similar inspiration but with cats. They can also be rather expressive when they dream.
I’m feeling the best that I can. Kindest regards and a great new year to you as well. Stay safe!
I like this. It makes me smell blood, and think of battle.
